My two oldest children have been gone all week for a visit to Aunt Christy's. They are having a blast but I am missing them and J2 doesn't quite know what to do with himself without someone here to boss him around. He has enjoyed having me and daddy all to himself but, I am not sure he would admit this, I think he is looking forward to going to get his brother and sister this afternoon. We finished the grates (at 1 a.m.!) then took them to the city to have them galvanized on Tuesday. 
I froze some sweet corn and peaches and canned some green beans (with the help of my grandparents) on Wednesday. J2 and I went to town yesterday and played at the park for a while then came home and did a little house cleaning then I worked on starting to get ready for our Alex's Lemonade Stand (yes it is that time already) while J2 took a nap. When daddy got home we ate dinner then went swimming in the pond. We have tried to do some special things with J2 this week but I think he is getting kinda bored of mom!
