It has been a while since I updated sorry! We all came home from school early on Tuesday when the weather was starting to get bad. I picked up j6 a little early and took princess4 out of speach class a little early and we headed home by way of the Dr.'s office. j6 had been up in the night complaining about a sore thoat. They checked him out and said he had a red swollen tonsil and prescribed him some medicine. Boy am I glad we stopped then because by that afternoon he was running a fever and really feeling yucky and with the weather as yucky as it was I am glad we didn't have to get out. So j6 got two snow days from school but has been laying at home sick, not feeling like doing anything...kind of a bummer when you are 6. He is still home today with a little fever left but starting to feel better. Just because one kid was down doesn't mean that it was quiet and dull around here...quite the opposite! The other two have been very busy...being cooped up since tuesday morning has not brought out the best in them. So when we sat down to read a devotion as a family last night (something we don't do often enough) I am sure it was no accident it was titled "Stop Fighting!"-"If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other." Galatians 5:15- very fitting for the last few days!
