Here is a little more info about me. My 4 year old daughter (princess4) is a three year neuroblastoma cancer survivor. She was diagnosed at the age of 17 months (after many months of tests on our very sick little baby) and then underwent six months of chemo. after removing her tumor. She has been in remission ever since. We are so blessed by the healing we have seen in her that we want to do something to help those kids still fighting the battle of childhood cancer. This fall we held our first "Alex's Lemonade Stand". It is a foundation for childhood cancer research...to learn more you can go to
www.alexslemonade.org . We raised just over $3000 and were so overwhelmed by the response from our community. We plan to make this an annual event. This Christmas we decorated a little section of the local park with an Alex's Lemonade theme as a thank you to our community. Above is a picture of us on Christmas eve amongst our lemon snowman and tree decorated with lemons. We really had a fun time together as a family working on it. Just thought I would share!
