Keeping The Main Thing The Main Thing

As the Christmas season quickly approaches it gets far too easy to get caught up in all the hustle and bustle and the stress that may come along with that. I really liked what I read about Dayspring cards JESUS IS THE GIFT MOVEMENT and thought I would share it with you. Below is the thought behind this movement. Enjoy!

OUR FOCUS
Jesus is the Gift is a movement that focuses on and honors Jesus as the ultimate gift. We encourage Christians to celebrate Him by tying a ribbon around a cross as a visual reminder of His sacrifice. We also challenge believers to engage in gift giving as a loving act of ministry and reflection of Jesus rather than a chore or obligation.
Our goal is not to discourage the many wonderful aspects of the Christmas season but to redeem giving, decorating, and celebrating in a way that brings “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14 KJV).

I have so much to catch you up on and so many pictures to share...but I just want to take this time right now to say...I am sorry. I am behind on posting here & I am behind on responding to emails. So let me just say I am sorry in advance for any email or message I don't get to reply to until days or weeks later. Please accept my sincere apology. I am just really bogged down with school and family and home right now. So please don't think it is because I am mad at you or don't like you...it is just because I am REALLY BUSY!!!

Give me Jesus

You can have all this world.....Give me Jesus!

In the morning as I rise give me Jesus...

And when I am alone give me Jesus....

Give me Jesus...Give me Jesus...you can have all this world...Give me Jesus!

And when I come to dine give me Jesus

Give me Jesus...Give me Jesus...you can have all this world...Give me Jesus!

by Fernando Ortega

In these days of economic uncertainty...I say

You can have all this world...GIVE ME JESUS!

Here are a few pictures to share...

Fall is here, the leaves are changing

There are no lights on at Great Grandma and Grandpa's house

Because they have already gone south for the winter.

We are sad about that.

We can see lights at the new home being built across the road.

We will soon have another young couple living in our neck of the woods.

We are happy about that.

I'm Back!

Here are a few pictures to share...for now. I will try to get some more to you soon. I am still actually finishing up assigments for my first term classes and starting my second term classes next week. We are busy, busy, busy around here! The lemonade stand was a great success! So far we have turned in about $2760 and I know there is still more coming in! We felt so blessed and had great time! Jaden celebrated his 3rd birthday! I can't believe he is growing up so fast. And Courtney had her last home softball game. This year is flying by already!
Signing off for now~
