School

J7 and Princess4 are finished with school for the year. Princess4 is registered for preschool next year. Whitney is all graduated from radiology school (yeah! We are so proud of her) and I am just starting!!

So I told you I was going back to finish my degree in Elementary Ed. a few posts back but never got back to you on the details. I am going to take classes on the NCMC campus at Trenton but the degree will be through Graceland University-Lamoni, IA. Right now I am taking a basic math concepts class (which I think is ironic because to me nothing about math is basic). Then starting around the 1st of August I will be taking 2 night classes every term for 2 years before finishing-1 on Monday evening and 1 on Wednesday. Which in the scheme of things is pretty good. Only going to class 2 evenings a week is much better for my hectic schedule than going every day all day. 2 years sounds like a long time but I am sure time will fly! So I will graduate in May of 2010. J7 will be 9 and will start 4th grade that fall when I start teaching (hopefully), Princess4 will then be Princess6 and be starting 1st grade and J2 will be 4 and be starting preschool-should everything go according to plan, that is. So everyone will be in school then and I won't be missing out on being home with my kids during the day until then! I have prayed about this for some time and feel like that Lord has given me a peace that this is His will for me right now. It will be a crazy hectic 2 years,

This is probably what it will be like for the next 2 years!

But leaning on Him for my strength I know nothing is impossible!
So for now I will just keep my head down, keep on truckin', and keep on smiling!

Abbey- your strength and determination are so great!! I think you are going to be an awesome teacher and only hope you are able to teach my kids. If you need any help just let us know- I will tell you from experience that while in the midst of those two years sometimes it will seem like forever but at the end you will look back and wonder how it went so fast. Jared has been in school two years and will graduate in dec!! YEAH!!!! We are so proud of you!
